Exploring our losses,
challenges and fears, as
well as our successes and
strengths, can be both
difficult and rewarding.
In my practice, I seek to create an open, accepting and creative environment for this exploration. I explore with clients how they encounter the world, including understanding how they have inhabited social roles, formed relational patterns, and developed their sense of self. This exploration can give greater freedom and flexibility in deciding how to engage, modify, and adapt these roles, patterns, and sense of self.
I trained as an intern at the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis and completed the Advanced Psychotherapy Fellowship at Cathedral Counseling Center in 2017. In addition to my practice, I have several publications on psychology and human development, and lecture on building and maintaining resiliency through eliciting our natural relaxation response, being aware of our stress, and forming adaptive strategies.
